As I’ve often said, who’d have thought Pinarello would be leading the race in XC-dominant bike development? I’m pretty certain we have Tom Pidcock to thank, but the fact remains that, with his input, they’ve developed one of the quickest, best-handling XC rocketships ever.
I like to think this bike has two personalities. With the Fox 32 at 100mm and the accompanying shock, it’s as XC as you’d ever want: fast, responsive, nimble. Throw on the 34 at 120mm with slightly beefier tires, though, and the trade becomes pretty compelling. You give up a little uphill and gain a hell of a lot coming back down.
Full custom build: Shimano XTR Di2, Fox Factory 34 Step-Cast with Factory shock, ENVE M5 Pro wheels, and brand-new Schwalbe Rick XC rubber. Italian, fast, and wonderfully versatile.
New, the parts alone retail for about $7,450, and that’s before the frame.
There’s also a second Fox shock in the box, so the bike can be converted to a 100/100mm setup if you’d rather run it as a pure XC race bike.
It’s been maintained throughout by the mechanics at Orange Seal. Ridden and loved, never neglected. Normal wear from actually riding it does exist.
Pedals and saddle are not included. Currently fitted with a 60mm stem and 760mm bar; an 80mm stem and second 760mm bar are included as well.
